Waterproof cable connectors are commonly used connection devices in power systems, primarily in industrial settings such as chemical plants, power plants, power supply bureaus, telecommunications base stations, and automated factories, ensuring the safety of cable connections between outdoor equipment and control systems.

Standard Installation Process

After fabricating the connector, wrap it with yellow silk tape, overlapping it by half the tape width. The wrapping length should exceed the stripped cut by 150-200mm. The number of layers depends on the voltage rating. Then, wrap the outer layer with J-20 self-adhesive tape, overlapping it by half the tape width. The length should exceed the yellow silk tape by at least 100-150mm, with at least 6 layers.

After the three phases are fabricated, arrange them into a circle, then wrap them with self-adhesive tape in the same circular shape as above. Finally, wrap them with plastic anti-abrasion tape, overlapping it by half the tape width. The length should exceed the self-adhesive tape by at least 150mm, with at least 3 layers.
