So, how do we distinguish between the neutral and ground busbars? A practical method is to check the product's wiring markings. Typically, the ground busbar is marked with a ground symbol (〨), while the neutral busbar is marked with a neutral symbol (N). These markings make it easy to differentiate between the two.

From a wiring function perspective, the neutral and ground busbars play different roles in household circuits. Every socket in the house needs to be connected to the ground wire for safety. Meanwhile, the neutral busbar in the distribution box is connected to the box body; this design helps to create a good ground, thus ensuring our electrical safety. The neutral and ground busbars perform different functions in household circuits. The neutral busbar must be insulated from the box body, ensuring that the electrical clearance after wiring is greater than 3 mm to meet safety standards.
