Custom Copper Wire Formed Connector Loops and Bent Conductive Links for Electrical Assemblies
This component is formed from solid copper wire into a defined two-dimensional or three-dimensional profile. Its open-loop shape may be used as a conductive link, terminal loop, contact element or custom connector within an electrical assembly.
The geometry is created to fit the customer's available installation space. Square, rectangular, trapezoidal and irregular profiles can be formed without introducing the additional joints required by multi-piece assemblies.
Unlike conventional terminals selected mainly by thread or cable size, this product is controlled by its complete outline. The relationship between wire diameter, bend radius, segment length and end position determines whether it fits the mating assembly correctly.
A dimensioned drawing, CAD profile or physical sample is therefore recommended for quotation.

Manufacturing Considerations
Copper is highly formable, but very small bend radii may create surface thinning or shape variation. Springback, tool marks and end-position tolerance should be evaluated according to material condition and wire diameter.
For conductive applications, the contact area, plating and final electrical performance must be confirmed within the complete customer assembly.
