(1) After crimping the terminals, wrap waterproof filler around the terminals. Shrink heat shrink tubing.
(2) In a slightly humid environment, wrap waterproof filler tape around both ends of the cable and shrink the sheath (both ends of the sheath must be covered with adhesive).
(3) In harsh environments, self-adhesive waterproof tape must be used for enhanced waterproofing (heat shrink waterproof tape can also be used; we generally use self-adhesive tape, as heat shrink tape is used for cable damage repair).
The method is as follows:
A. After filling with waterproof filler, wrap a layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape around the filler or stretch the self-adhesive waterproof tape and wrap multiple layers, but the thickness should not be too thick to avoid the insulation tube not fitting.
B. Shrink the heat shrink tubing over the filler.
C. Wrap waterproof tape around both ends of the heat shrink tubing, then wrap another layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape. Wrap waterproof tape and self-adhesive tape around both ends of the cable insulation sheath, then heat shrink the sheath.
