Tolerance Options for a Secure Fit
Each DIN6325 Dowel Pin M6 Tolerance is supplied with the standard m6 oversize tolerance (model P004 – 6325-m6), machined for dependable press-fit mounting. If an undersize fit is required, h6 tolerance is available on request. The tolerance zone is tightly controlled: an M5 pin with m6 grade holds +0.004 to +0.012 mm on diameter, while the h6 grade holds 0 to -0.008 mm - a deviation of just 0.008 mm. This predictable fit reduces assembly variation and supports consistent positioning in precision tooling.
Built for Multi-Purpose Applications
One end is chamfered at 15° and rounded for easy insertion, and the other end is rounded. As solid cylindrical pins, they are widely used to align parts, and serve as guide and wrist pins, shafts, stops, and roller bearings for wheels and castors in jigs, fixtures, and machine assemblies. The finished steel surface resists rust for a longer service life. Custom diameters, lengths, and quantities can be accommodated.

Correct Installation
For a press-fit size hole, press the pin into place instead of hammering it, as impact can chip the pin. Wear a shield and safety glasses when pressing. Length is measured end to end, following ISO 2338 and Imperial series practice; the DIN 7 variant excludes the rounded and chamfered ends. This product is similar to ISO 8734 A.
