Product Description

A brass male to female threaded adapter with a hex base and an internal bore converts a port whose thread does not match the incoming part. The outer thread fits the equipment, the inner thread takes the mating part, and the hex section allows controlled wrench installation.
Product Parameters
Made to order only: the tables below list the positions you define.

Manufacturing And Inspection
Profile CNC turned; the inner passage is bored before the two threads are machined, with hex flats and end slots as secondary operations. Thread gauges inspect marked threads.
Product Advantages
Engineering fact and the result on your line.
|
Advantage |
Engineering Fact |
Buyer Benefit |
|
Thread conversion at the port |
Outer and inner threads are machined independently to two specifications. |
No re-tapping of the housing, no adapter stack, and the existing mating component stays unchanged. |
|
Hex base for controlled torque |
A hex section accepts a standard wrench, so torque is applied through the flats. |
Repeatable tightening without crushing the thread or distorting a thin-walled body. |
|
Drive slot for restricted space |
An end-face slot is added as a secondary operation when the drawing calls for it. |
Installation in recessed countersinks and tight pockets that no wrench can reach. |
|
Bore built for the function |
Counterbore, internal shoulder, blind end or two bore diameters in one turning sequence. |
Thread conversion and axial positioning by one part instead of an adapter plus a spacer. |
|
Made from your dimensions |
No fixed catalogue configuration; every version follows your drawing or sample. |
Prototype, trial batch and repeat production stay interchangeable on one released drawing. |

Product Applications
Sensor mounting, port conversion and panel entries taking a different thread.
