Product Overview

The 8-Circuit Repeatable Grounding Box is a dedicated protective earth (PE) connection enclosure designed to provide multiple repeatable grounding points in low-voltage distribution systems. In TN-C-S and TT earthing systems, repeatable (multiple) grounding at strategic points reduces touch voltage, improves fault current paths, and enhances overall electrical safety. This enclosure provides 8 independent grounding circuit connections in a compact, protected housing.
Understanding Repeatable Grounding in TN-C-S / TT Systems
Why Repeatable Grounding?
TN-C-S Systems
The PEN (Protective Earth + Neutral) conductor is separated into PE and N at the service entrance. Repeatable grounding of the PE conductor at multiple points along the distribution network reduces the risk of dangerous touch voltages if the PEN conductor is broken.
TT Systems
Each exposed conductive part is connected to its own earth electrode. The repeatable grounding box consolidates multiple earth connections, providing a common reference point and facilitating equipotential bonding.
Safety Benefit
In the event of a phase-to-earth fault, multiple low-resistance earth paths ensure that fault current is sufficient to operate protective devices (RCDs/MCBs) quickly, limiting touch voltage duration.
Key Principle
The resistance of each repeatable grounding connection should be ≤ 4Ω (TT systems) or ≤ 10Ω (TN-C-S supplementary grounding), per IEC 60364.

Installation Diagram & Lightning Protection
A typical installation includes:
Connect the main PE conductor (typically 25–50mm² copper) from the earth electrode (rod, plate, or mesh) to the main terminal of the grounding box.
Each circuit's protective earth conductor (typically 4–16mm²) connects to one of the 8 branch terminals.
Metal water pipes, gas pipes, and structural steel are bonded to the grounding box via additional terminals.
For buildings with lightning protection systems (LPS), the grounding box should be integrated into the common earthing network, with all earth electrodes (power, lightning, signal) bonded together to achieve equipotential bonding per IEC 62305.
After installation, measure earth resistance using a fall-of-potential tester and verify ≤ 4Ω (TT) or ≤ 1Ω (common LPS/Power earth).
Applications
Residential and commercial building main earthing terminals, TN-C-S system repeatable grounding points, TT system multiple-earth consolidation, industrial plant protective earth distribution, lightning protection equipotential bonding, and data center / server room grounding infrastructure.
